We live Circular Economy

Werner & Mertz Professional presents the next level of sustainable product design at the ISSA/Interclean

The future belongs to companies living Circular Economy and Werner & Mertz Professional will prove this once more at the ISSA/Interclean from 10th to 13th of May in Amsterdam. With the pioneering concept “SANET platinum concept 1.0” the producer of integral sustainable professional cleaning agents located in Mainz, shows that in the future, a complete recyclability will be possible – for both, packaging and detergent. First examples of this new recyclable concept will be presented at the Werner & Mertz Professional exhibition booth 4.321.

The aim of “SANET platinum concept 1.0” is nothing less than to reach the ultimate quality level Cradle to CradleTM Certified PLATINUM – so far unattained within and far beyond the sector of professional cleaning products. 100 Percent post consumer recycled plastics will be used for the production of bottles and bottle caps. Also, the detergent is based on 100 percent renewable raw materials, without compromising the comfort of great cleaning results, smells and coloring. But the modern technologies do not stop here: the future of Werner & Mertz Professional cleaning products does not know any language barriers. All safety and application information will be available in multiple languages.

Users simply have to scan a QR-code on the product itself and will then be provided with information in their native language. Werner & Mertz Professional will not only focus on the future at its exhibition booth, but also at the forum " Redefining Innovation - Opportunities of the EU Circular Economy pacakge " for the professional cleaning industry” on Thursday, 12th May, 2-3:15 pm, D201-202 (RAI Elicium). Dr. Hugo Maria Schally, Head of Unit Eco-Innovation and Circular Economy, Directorate General for the Environment of the European commission will be the keynote speaker. He will explain the opportunities of the EU-Circular Economy Package for the cleaning industry. After Dr. Schally’s kick-off, Reinhard Schneider, eco-pioneer, owner and CEO of the Werner-Mertz group, will demonstrate that thinking, designing and producing in a circular way is not an utopic dream but a reality. With different eco-initiatives, the in 4th generation family owned eco-pioneer, which is based in Mainz, Germany, has become a reference for the circular economy showing how it can be done.
